Deuteronomy 4:36 "Out of heaven He made thee to hear His voice, that He might instruct thee: and upon earth He shewed thee His great fire; and thou hearest His Words out of the midst of the fire".
Discipline is necessary to teach us who He is.
As said before; "we need to know God's character before we can approach Him".
You cannot come in His presence unless you know His character.
Discipline can bring us into obedience, and obedience is one of the important commands that please God.
Without obedience we avoid His protection, and will never understand to stand in His authority.
Authority cannot be taken unless He gives us, like the Bible says in John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power (Exousia = Authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name".
The grab to authority results in rebellion and is the greatest sin against God.
If we walk in His discipline we instantly are in His presence.
Deuteronomy 11:2-4 " And know ye this day: for I speak not with children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the Lord your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His stretched out arm, And His miracles, and His acts, which He did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all His land; And what He did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the Lord hath destroyed the unto this day".
May you have a prosperous week start.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, (Ephesians 1:18)
