There are sections of the Bible we do not understand (even Paul didn't know everything), and we need to admit it.

We cannot be dogmatic about many specific interpretations — and we cannot categorically reject everyone else's.

A brief word about dates, perhaps one of the most often misused aspects of prophecy: Bible prophecies are often purposely ambiguous about chronology.

That isn’t so we will study harder and make lots of guesses – it is because the chronology is relatively unimportant.

The more important thing is our spiritual response, and that is more important even if we did know the chronology.

Prophecy is given not so much that we will know the future, but that we will know that God controls the future, and it is far more important for us to know God, than it is for us to know the future.

Any revelation of the future is given primarily so that we will do something now to be on the side of the One who wins in the end, the One who declares the end from ancient times, the One who will be sure to bring it all to pass just as He has purposed.

We should interpret the Bible by asking, What did the writer mean?

He may have intended a figurative meaning.

Of course, to understand the figure of speech or the metaphor, we must first understand what the words mean literally.

But we cannot arbitrarily reject all other possibilities.

Unfortunately, there is no simple formula to tell us which words are literal and which are symbolic, and even if we know the word is symbolic, there is no formula to tell us what the symbol means.

That is why Bible prophecy is interpreted in many different ways.

Although we'd like to have an answer for every Bible question, we should say "We don't know'' more often.

"Some of us think this way, and some of us think that way.

I understand how you got your view, and I might happen to disagree with it, but I cannot prove that my view is the only way of looking at it."

This is the approach our statement of beliefs takes on several issues.

Because of the ambiguities that are inherent in prophecy (probably by God’s design), differences of opinion will exist, even among converted Christians.

On such matters, we should not be dogmatic, and none of us should insist that the church teach our particular view.

On many debatable issues, the church need not teach any view; it is not essential to Christian discipleship or to our commission.

May you walk in the confidence that what God is going to do in your life today will make this day the blessed of days.

The best is yet to come. When God is on your side, no enemy can confound you nor defeat you.

Therefore, rejoice that you are the church triumphant.

Rejoice that you are His and that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life

Similarly in the Old Testament, when we read that men will "beat swords into plowshares,'' do we restrict the meaning to swords and plows, or do we update it technologically to include all instruments of warfare and productivity?

In this case, the specific item (a sword) seems to refers to a general subject (violence); the same may be true with other details of prophecy.

One word may stand for something else.
What about people? Malachi 4:5-6 predicted an Elijah.

But it wasn't literally Elijah; Jesus said that John the Baptist fulfilled that role.

And when Elijah comes again, will it be a resurrected Elijah, or someone in his role?

What about the prophecies of a future David?

In many cases, "David'' may be a reference to his son and successor, Christ.

And if Christ fulfills the prediction, it isn't necessary that David himself will also.

When we read that Christ will sit on the throne of David, should we expect the same physical throne, or is it a figure of speech depicting rulership of Israel?

Will we all sit on the one throne of God (Revelation 3:21) while the apostles sit on other thrones (Matthew 19:28)?

Since we have to look at the picture before we look at the details?

The details are simply artistic license used to support the picture of peace, which is the context of Micah 4:3-4.

The details are like those in a photo of happy people.

The photo can be representative of happiness, but we don't expect every detail to be representative.

Sitting at home may illustrate peace and abundance, but those details are not required for peace and abundance.

As another example, Isaiah 40:3-4 says that the mountains will be brought low and uneven ground will be made level.

Literally, this would mean that there will be no hills. However, Luke 3:4-6 implies that this prophecy was fulfilled by John the Baptist.

Luke understood it figuratively, in a very non-literal way. He was not talking about mountains and roads at all.

Due to the way New Testament writers present Messianic prophecies, some readers may think there has been a "literal'' fulfillment.

But a comparison of Old Testament context and New Testament fulfillment sometimes shows a major shift in meaning.

In fact, it may be that the original verse in the Old Testament wasn’t a prophecy at all – it was just fulfilled, or given greater meaning, in the life and ministry of Christ.

Joel 2:28-29 predicted God's Spirit on "all flesh'' and dreams and visions, but Peter said that this was fulfilled on Pentecost, when there weren’t any dreams and visions (Acts 2:16-17).

Nevertheless, Peter said that Pentecost was a fulfillment of the prophecy. He did not press the details very far, and neither should we.

Their understanding of fulfillment is different from the concept many people today have.

Let’s look at an example from the book of Revelation: Does Christ have a literal sword in his mouth (Revelation 19:15), or does it metaphorically mean words of war?

The literal approach has produced a lot of failed prophecies, and a lot of disappointment.

Other schools of interpretation have their problems, too, all of which emphasizes our need to be cautious in our approach.

Amos' prophecy of blessings (Amos 9:13) illustrates some problems of literal interpretation: "The days are coming…when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes.

New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills."

Will the reaper really be overtaken by the plowman?

Why wouldn't the plowman simply stop and help the reaper?

How can the grape-treader, who works in a wine press, overtake the planter, who works in a field?

If streams of wine flow from the hills (other verses might make us wonder whether there will be any hills), why would anyone need a grape-treader?

Obviously, this is not meant literally. But how much of it is figurative?

Will there be plowmen and grapetreaders at all?

The verse itself cannot answer that question.

When we read that "mountains and hills will burst into song, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands'' (Isaiah 55:12), we usually interpret it symbolically, because a literal fulfillment isn't possible – that is, not possible without a miracle.

But when we read that "the lion will eat straw like the ox'' (Isaiah 11:7), we find something equally impossible without a miracle.

Maybe it isn’t meant literally, either.

When we read that everyone will sit under his vine and fig tree (Micah 4:4), we need not insist that everyone will have a vine and fig tree.

We need to look at the picture before we look at the details.

We see more as we go on: "Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning.

The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

He shot his arrows and scattered the enemies, great bolts of lightning and routed them." (Ps.18:12-14).

So far, we have mostly thunderstorm imagery.

But then David adds something that was surely not involved in his escapes from Saul: "The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of breath from your nostrils.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.

He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.

They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me" (Ps.18:15-18).

In this psalm, we can see how poetic language can be applied to a historical event.

It would be a mistake for us to take this literally – and we must be equally cautious about taking the language of prophecy literally.

Some dramatic figures of speech may be involved.

Poetic language about the valleys of the sea should not be taken literally, mountains may not be meant literally, heavenly signs may not be meant literally.

Hosea 12:10 says some of the prophecies were given as parables, that is, in figurative language: "I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions and told parables through them."

Literally?
There is one school of interpretation that stresses the literal interpretation of prophecies.

Prophecies are sometimes meant literally, but to begin with an advance assumption about prophecy runs contrary to the biblical evidence.

We can’t assume in advance that it is literal; nor can we assume in advance that it isn’t.

In Psalm David uses a variety of images to describe God as a place of safety – a defensive and passive role.

He adds even more images when he writes, "The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.

The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help.

From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears" (Ps.18:4-6).

From images of the underworld, David now turns to images of heaven, and he puts the matter in cosmic terminology: "The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry.

Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky" (Ps.18:7-11).

David is using some of the same language that Canaanite myths use.
He is speaking of earthquakes and thunderstorms.

Is this literally the way that God rescued David from Saul?

No, that is not in the history – David is speaking in imaginative, poetic terms.

As a practical matter, we cannot convince people of our interpretation if we are using special insight they don’t have access to.

If we did that, we would be asking them to have faith in us.

What we need to do is to base our understanding, our arguments, and our teaching on what the scriptures say and on what people can see for themselves, in the translations that are commonly available.

We have to use an understandable method of interpretation, one that makes sense historically, linguistically and theologically.

We need to examine the words, the grammar, the paragraph flow, the type of literature we are dealing with, and with the overall message of the Bible.

We have to remember that prophecy was not inspired to satisfy our curiosity about the future – it has always had a theological purpose.

It tells us something about what God is doing with humanity, and it is given to help motivate people to do something in the present.

Prophecy is not an end in itself — it supports a more important goal.

God's primary purpose in dealing with mankind is to reconcile us to him, to give us salvation through Christ – and prophecy serves that larger purpose.

It tells us something about what God is doing, and it may also tell us something about what we should be doing.

Prophecy should lead us toward God, so that we know him, have faith in him, and seek him through Jesus Christ.

Prophecy a Poetic language
It is especially important to understand the type of literature we are dealing with, and this is where many of the difficulties come in.

Prophecy is not always written in the same way as history is.

Prophecy is often poetic, and ancient poetry, like modern poetry, uses words in a metaphorical or symbolic sense more often than prose does.

Psalm 23 is a familiar example of poetic metaphors, with pastoral imagery.

The Lord is my shepherd; he leads me beside still waters; my cup runneth over.

These are metaphors drawn from different aspects of life.

Psalm 18 is another interesting illustration, even though it isn’t prophecy.

In fact, it is a good illustration precisely because it is not a prophecy.

We know what really happened. It tells us in Ps.18:1 that it is about "when the Lord delivered David from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul."

Saul tried to kill David, but David kept escaping.

The psalm begins in a familiar way: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.

He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies."

Berikut ini saya berikan tips buat isi di Pom Bensin yang bagus:

Pernah memperhatikan plang nama besar saat menuju ke SPBU? Di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya tertera huruf 31.XXXXX atau 34.XXXXX. itu bukan kode buntut. Huruf awal pertama menandakan kode wilayah . Sedang angka kedua mengandung arti kepemilikan.

Kepala 3 berarti SPBU berdomisili di Jakarta Jawa Barat, Banten dan sekitarnya. Kalo kepala 5 kayaknya Surabaya.
Digit kedua, jika angka 1 berarti kepemilikan Pertamina sendiri. Sedangkan angka 4 berarti kepemilikan swasta atau dealer..jadi yang penting angka keduanya 1 gak masalah berapapun angka pertamanya karena itu kode wilayah .

Karena, sebenarnya ada tiga kategori SPBU. Pertama COCO alias corporate owner corporate operate, CODO yakni corporate owner dealer operate. Terakhir DODO, dealer owner dealer operate. Ini berdasar pada situs spbu.pertamina.com

Karena dikendalikan oleh pertamina, maka kualitas SPBU model COCO dan CODO diyakini lebih baik dibanding DODO. Tanpa bermaksud menyamaratakan, di sisi bisnis bisa dimengerti, karena ingin cepat balik modal, pengusaha jadi berlaku curang. kalo saya sih nyaranin ngisi bensin sebaiknya di SPBU yang milik Pertamina (angka keduanya 1) karena quality control-nya cukup bagus..
saya denger2 juga dari supir taksi dan orang2 yang telah pengalaman ngecek pas ngisi bensin katanya yang kode 31 (Angka Kedua 1)takarannya sesuai sedangkan yang 34 agak berbeda meskipun punya tanda "PASTI PAS".
Menurut banyak orang juga kode pertamina 31 (Angka Kedua 1)ternyata paling baik(kualitas bensin) dibanding denanda yang kode 34.

cara buktiinya:

coba bagi anda yang menggunakan mobil/ motor matic, pastinya akan terasa tarikan mobilnya .jika mengisi bensin di pertamina dengan tanda kode 31 (Angka Kedua 1)akan terasa tarikan mobilnya lebih kencang dan tidak terlalu kotor dibanding dengan tanda pom dengan tanda kode lainnya

Coba anda bandingkan jumlah mobil/ motor yang ngisi bensin di pom bensin tersebut,,,di pom bensin kode 31(Angka Kedua 1) pasti sangat ramai sedangkan yang kode 34 agak cenderung sepi..ini udah saya buktikan sendiri.

Coba anda ngisi 1 Liter bensin di Pom bensin 31 (Angka Kedua 1)dan pom bensin 34..bandingkan aja dari sisi kualitas (mesin lebih enak) maupun kuantitasnya (yang mana yang lebih cepat habis)..

coba anda tanya sama supir angkot atau supir taksi dimana pom bensin yang bagus, pasti sebagian besar mereka jawab di pom bensin 31 (Angka Kedua 1)karena mereka juga banyak ngisi di pom bensin 31
Kalo gak percaya bisa dibuktikan sendiri anda...tapi gak semua 34 juga yang kaya begitu


2. TIAP ISI BENSIN MINTA KEPADA PETUGASNYA TUAS HANDLE SELANG JANGAN DITEKAN TAPI DILEPAS AJA WAKTU DITARUH DI TANGKI KITA
Pernah gak anda sewaktu ngisi bensin, tuasa handle ditekan2 begitu sama petugasnya? pasti pernah lah nemuinnya...kenapa begitu? karena banyak oknum yang nakal denanda cara memainkan takaran bensin dengan tanda cara seperti itu sehingga jumlah bensin yang kita isi lebih sedikit dari apa yang seharusnya..
Pengalaman saya ngisi di pom bensin kode 31 (Angka Kedua 1), petugas gak pernah menekan-nekan tuas handle selang sewaktu mengisi sedangkan di kode 34 liat aja deh...kalo anda sewaktu ngisi bensin digituin, petugasnya ditegur aja..

3.ISILAH BENSIN WAKTU HARI MASIH PAGI KETIKA TEMPERATUR TANAH MASIH DINGIN
Ingat bahwa semua SPBU mempunyai tanki penyimpanan di bawah tanah.Semakin dingin tanahnya maka semakin padat/kental bahan bakarnya. Jika temperatur mulai panas/hangat, maka bahan bakarnya akan mengembang.

Jadi jika membeli bahan bakar pada siang hari atau petang hari..sebenarnya bahan bakar yang diisikan ke dalam tanki kendaraan anda jelas lebih sedikit dibanding jumlah liter yang anda beli.Dalam bisnis perminyakan, gravity yang spesifik dan temperatur bensin, diesel dan bahan bakar pesawat jet, ethanol dan produk minyak lainnya punya peranan penting. Kenaikan 1 derajat merupakan hal yang sangat berpengaruh dalam business ini. Tetapi SPBU tidak memberikan anda rugi/kompensasi karena temperatur


4.ISI BENSIN SAAT TANKI KENDARAAN ANDA MASIH SETENGAH PENUH.

Alasannya adalah semakin banyak bahan bakar yang ada di tanki kendaraan, maka semakin sedikit udara yang ada di bagian tanki yang kosong. Bensin menguap lebih cepat dari pada yang bisa kita bayangkan. Dalam bisnis perminyakan biasanya tanki penyimpanan bensin mempunyai apa yang kita sebut atap yang mengapung (floating roof) yang berfungsi sebagai clearance zero antara bensin dan atmosfer sehingga penguapannya bisa dikurangi.,tetapi hal itu tidak terdapat di SPBU.

5.JANGAN ISI BENSIN JIKA ADA TRUK BAHAN BAKAR SEDANG MENGISI TANKI PENYIMPANAN
Hampir pasti bensin/solar akan teraduk saat bahan bakar dipompakan dari truck ke tanki penyimpanan SPBU, dan kemungkinannya akan ada kotoran di dasar tanki penyimpanan yang teraduk naik dan terikut masuk ke tanki kendaraan anda.

CINTA

Cinta itu tahan berdua-duaan walau tidak ngapa-ngapain..
Begitu juga kalau kita jatuh cinta sama Tuhan, kita bisa tahan duduk di kaki Tuhan walaupun ketika ditanya orang lain:"dapat apa dari Tuhan?", jawabnya: "Tidak tahu, tapi enak aja rasanya.."

Kalau orang Kristen yang cinta sama Tuhan, pasti ada kesaksian..
Cinta membuat kita tidak peduli kalau kehilangan apapun, yang kita tau itu Dia cukup..
Cinta itu tidak memikirkan diri sendiri, tapi memikirkan waktu untuk bisa bertemu..
Cinta itu melakukan segala sesuatu demi Tuhannya..


Seberapakah cinta kita ke Tuhan?


SETIA

Setia itu dari perkara yang kecil, misal orang tua yang mendoakan anaknya setiap hari, perpuluhan, dll..
Kalau kita setia dari perkara yang kecil, maka kita akan dipercaya hal yang lebih besar..
Yang penting setia di bagian kita, maka Tuhan akan kerjakan bagianNya..
Kekerasan itu tidak akan menyelesaikan masalah, tapi doakan dengan setia..

Berkat itu di tangan Tuhan!

Belajar setia sekalipun di dalam kesesakan.. Karena sangat mudah bagi orang untuk memberontak ketika di dalam penderitaan / kesusahan..


BERPEGANG PADA NAMA-NYA DAN IMAN

Aku tahu di mana engkau diam, yaitu di sana, di tempat takhta Iblis; dan engkau berpegang kepada nama-Ku, dan engkau tidak menyangkal imanmu kepada-Ku, juga tidak pada zaman Antipas, saksi-Ku, yang setia kepada-Ku, yang dibunuh di hadapan kamu, di mana Iblis diam.

Kadang-kadang banyak hal kecil yang menggerogoti iman kita..
Kalau bersama Tuhan pasti tetap hidup! Burung di langit saja dipelihara, apalagi kita..
Kita ditantang untuk praktis dalam hidup ini, itu iman..
Semua orang boleh meninggalkan kita, tapi Tuhan tidak akan meninggalkan kita..
Iman itu bukan kabur/lari dari kenyataan, bukan khawatir / takut, tapi berani menghadapi kenyataan..
Iman itu bukan berontak, tapi biar kehendakMu yang jadi..
Bagi Tuhan tak ada yang mustahil!


LAKUKAN PEKERJAAN TUHAN

Dan barangsiapa menang dan melakukan pekerjaan-Ku sampai kesudahannya, kepadanya akan Kukaruniakan kuasa atas bangsa-bangsa;

Lakukan pekerjaan Tuhan sesuai dengan karunia dan talenta yang sudah diberi oleh Tuhan..
Selagi ada kesempatan, lakukan apa yang bisa engkau lakukan..

Wahyu 3:4Tetapi di Sardis ada beberapa orang yang tidak mencemarkan pakaiannya; mereka akan berjalan dengan Aku dalam pakaian putih, karena mereka adalah layak untuk itu.
Tanpa kekudusan kita tidak bisa melihat Tuhan..
Kalau Roh Kudus tegur langsung bertobat dan jangan berdalih!
Miliki ketenangan dalam segala hal..
Miliki hati yang mudah bertobat..
Selidiki hati kita, adakah kepahitan, kekesalan, sakit hati, iri hati? Cabut semuanya, agar kita kudus setiap saat di hadapan Tuhan..


TEKUN DAN TAAT

Wahyu 3:10
Karena engkau menuruti firman-Ku, untuk tekun menantikan Aku, maka Akupun akan melindungi engkau dari hari pencobaan yang akan datang atas seluruh dunia untuk mencobai mereka yang diam di bumi.

Ada orang mau usaha tapi ga tekun.. Ada yang mau mengerti alkitab tapi cuma baca 1-2 kali, trus berhenti..
Tekun itu seperti memalu batu besar dengan palu yang kecil..
Ketekunan itu mengikis segala sesutatu..
PENGURAPAN
Wahyu 3:18
maka Aku menasihatkan engkau, supaya engkau MEMBELI dari pada-Ku emas yang telah dimurnikan dalam api, agar engkau menjadi kaya, dan juga pakaian putih, supaya engkau memakainya, agar jangan kelihatan ketelanjanganmu yang memalukan; dan lagi minyak untuk melumas matamu, supaya engkau dapat melihat.

Tanpa pengurapan kita tidak akan bisa melakukan apa-apa..
Pengurapan melakukan banyak hal dalam hidup kita..

Membeli! Ada saatnya kita meminta.. Kalau kita masih muda kerohaniannya, baru bertobat/lahir baru, boleh kita meminta.. Tapi kalau sudah dewasa, belajar membeli! Bayar harganya!
Berapapun harga yang kita bayar itu tidak akan pernah rugi.. Kita hanya bayar sedikit, namun kita akan mendapat kemuliaan, kasih yang tidak akan pernah habis di hidup kita..

Kita bisa rasakan perubahan atmosfir ketika pengurapan itu ada..
Dengan pengurapan, yang sakit disembuhkan..

4. Pengurapan pelepasan dari tawanan

5. Pengurapan profetik *kenabian*
Ketika kita baca alkitab bisa mengerti dengan bernubuat
You cannot see Jesus in the new testament without anointing..

Alkitab itu adalah kitab pewahyuaan tentang Yesus.

Pujian penyembahan ini adalah senjata peperangan!

Favor (perkenanan) adalah urapan Roh Kudus untuk kemakmuran

Apa saja yang iblis ambil akan dibalikin 2x ganda, double! (Contoh : Ayub)
Tuhan akan memberikan harta kekayaan orang fasik kepada kita

Semua aliran di atas itu bisa kita dapatkan, tergantung dari keintiman dan kedekatan kita dengan Tuhan..
Lalu juga kita harus minta urapan itu sendiri dari Tuhan, atau bisa kita dianugerahi oleh Tuhan sehingga kita diurapi seperti Daud..

1. Kejadian 12 : Abraham moved to Egypt
Di Kejadian 13 tertulis bahwa ketika Abraham keluar dari Mesir, ia sudah menjadi kaya

2. Kejadian 26 : Ishak mendapatkan harta daripada Abimelekh
Bahkan ia menjadi lebih kaya darpada raja!

3. Kejadian 31 : 6-9 Yakub
Tuhan memberi ladang kepada Yakub dari pamannya (Laban)
*Tuhan telah memberikan harta ternak kepadaku*

4. Kejadian 41 : Yusuf
Terjadi perpindahan kekayaan orang Mesir
Ayat 44 ini ditulis bahya sampai ada titik dimana orang tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa tanpa persetujuan dari Yusuf..

6. 1 Raja" 23
Salomo jadi raja paling kaya di dunia!

Hadirat Tuhan tidak bisa naik turun dan hadirat Tuhan tidak dapat diimpartasikan..
Ketika kita menyembah Tuhan, kita bisa lupa dengan diri kita sendiri..
Contoh: kejadian Adam dan Hawa saat dalam hadirat Tuhan mereka lupa (tidak tahu) kalau mereka telanjang..

Ulangan 32 : 13
Dibuat-Nya dia berkendaraan mengatasi bukit-bukit di bumi, dan memakan hasil dari ladang; dibuat-Nya dia mengisap madu dari bukit batu, dan minyak dari gunung batu yang keras,

Ketika kita berserah di dalam penyembahan, kita bisa hirup tiap pengurapan (anointing) tersebut!

Kisah para rasul 1 : 8Tetapi kamu akan menerima kuasa, kalau Roh Kudus turun ke atas kamu, dan kamu akan menjadi saksi-Ku di Yerusalem dan di seluruh Yudea dan Samaria dan sampai ke ujung bumi."
Dia (Yesus) bersama kita, di dalam kita, dan turun atas kita selamanya..
Hadirat Tuhan tidak ada yang naik turun, karena hadirat Tuhan itu stabil..

Kuasa Tuhan itu kemana-mana, jadi harus dikejar..
Musuh urapan adalah pengalihan perhatian..
Urapan dapat dipindahkan..

Masa depan engkau itu sangat baik, karena Tuhan punya rencana yang besar bagi Indonesia..

Prosperity is not a accident, it is a decision..
Ketika kita taat pada Tuhan, kemakmuran itu pasti akan mengikuti..


Saya adalah manusia perjanjian..
I am a covenant person..
I have covenant rights..
Ini yang membedakan kita dengan orang dunia, karena Tuhan membuat perjanjian dengan kita..


A covenant isn't a contract..
Perjanjian adalah pertukaran kehidupan..
Tuhan membuat 7 perjanjian selama di Alkitab: dengan Adam, Nuh, Abaraham-Ishak-Yakub, (Abraham Ishak Yakub jadi 1), Israel, Daud, perjanjian baru melalui Yesus kepada gerejanya, dan perjanjian yang kekal yaitu perjanjian Allah Bapa-Anak-Roh Kudus kepada kita melalui penebusan..
Setiap covenant itu pasti ada janji di dalamnya, ada pencurahan darah, ada pemateraian..
Perjanjian itu tidak bisa dipatahkan karena itu adalah janji yang kekal melalui darah Yesus pada kita..

Ada 3 kunci kepada kemakmuran:
1. We must love the Lord FIRST (mengasihi Tuhan)Job 22:21
Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
We must make the Lord our Source..
We must get to know Him..
Hal ini sama dengan di kitab Matius 6:33

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Proverbs 8:21
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

2. The scriptures must fill your heart
Job 22:22,24
22: Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
24: Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the [gold] of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

3. You have to obey the Lord
Job 36:11If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Pada saat engkau mentaati Tuhan dan mulai menabur benih dalam pekerjaannya, engkau sedang mengaktifkan hukum rohani, yaitu hukum kemakmuran..

Kita tidak perlu iman untuk memberi jumlah yang kecil, tapi kita butuh iman untuk memberi jumlah taburan yang besar.. Ketika engkau meningkatkan imanmu, Tuhan akan masuk dan akan memberi upahnya.. Pemberianmu itu harus menggerakkan kita sehingga Tuhan bisa ikut bergerak..Engkau harus membangkitkan imanmu!

Tidak ada yang ke surga dengan kebetulan.. Tidak ada yang ke neraka karena kebetulan.. Semua itu pilihan..

Choose life or death.. The choice is yours..
The greatest miracle is salvation..

Salvation demands on four experiences/conditions (Matthew 16):
1. You cannot be saved except you have met Him face to face
Jesus is not a fire escape.. Kita harus menerima Dia dengan dasar kasih.. Petrus berhadapan muka dengan muka dengan Yesus..
2. Kita harus menerima pewahyuan dari Roh Kudus kalau Dia benar-benar Mesias sejati karena banyak mesias palsu.. Saudara tahu kalau saudara tahu bahwa Yesus adalah Mesias, pengetahuan ini turun dari Roh Kudus..
3. Kita harus mengakui Dia.. Petrus mengaku bahwa Dialah Kristus..
4. Kita harus membuat pengakuan di depan umum kalau Yesus adalah Kristus..

Are you sure, are you really sure that you are saved? Make your election sure..

Do you know Him personally? Do you know Him for yourself?
Be sure that you know the Heaven is your home..

Dear Lord Jesus..
I believe that You are the Son of God..

It means that you are set apart.. God has blessed you with promises and the promises of God cannot fail.. The promises of God are Yea and Amen.. You cannot lose because you are the Son of God.. God gives the wealth of the sinners to the righteousness..

Prosperity is guaranteed.

Three keys of Prosperity:

1. Job 22:21
You have to love the Lord.. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness ... (Matt 6:33)

Receive the Word of God..
Joshua 1:8
Loving His Word and never forget what the Bible says..
Job 22 > Result of Loving Him and His Words
Love His Word.. Job 22:24-25

3. Obedince..
Prosperity is the key.. God wants us to prosper..
I will bless you and make you a blessing..
Kita tidak bisa menyebarkan Injil kalau tidak ada pendukungnya/sarana untuk mendukung pengabaran Injil tersebut..

You cannot enter in the presence of the King with the cheap gifts.. How much gift to the King of kings?
If we sow little, we receive little..

The anointing has three dimensions
Banyak yang sudah mengalami yang pertama dan kedua..

1 Samuel 16
Daud yang diurapi terlebih dahulu di antara saudara-saudaranya..
2 Samuel 2
Diurapi kedua kalinya untuk menjadi Raja suku Yehuda
2 Samuel 5
Diurapi ketiga kalinya sebagai Raja atas seluruh Israel

Rasul-rasul juga mengalami hal yang sama.. Mereka diurapi untuk pertama kali di Yohanes 20 ketika Yesus menghembuskan, lalu yang kedua ketika mereka di loteng, lalu yang ketiga kalinya di Kisah Para Rasul 4 ketika mereka mengalami sekali lagi kepenuhan Roh Kudus, mengalami kuasa yang besar, di Kisah Para Rasul 4:31 membuat mereka mau menyatakan Firman Tuhan dengan berani dan mereka hidup dalam kasih karunia yang berlimpah-limpah..
Urapan Roh Kudus ini sangat "berbahaya"..

Hadirat Tuhan dan pengurapan Tuhan itu terpisah..

1. For Salvation

And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

Tuhan menyatakan diriNya sendiri
Di Keluaran 34 Tuhan menyatakan sifatNya, keadilanNya, Ia menyingkapkan siapa diriNya..

Ketika mengalami hadirat Tuhan, anda akan sangat diam..
Ketika mengalami kuasa Tuhan, anda akan menjadi sangat hidup/semangat..
Hadirat Tuhan adalah Dia sendiri.. AtributNya.. SifatNya..

 Psalms 103:7
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Musa kenal pribadiNya..
Israel kenal kuasaNya..

 Mazmur 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
 
Diamlah dan ketahuilah bahwa Akulah Tuhan
Hadirat Tuhan itu tidak bisa dirasakan, tapi dikenal..

How to know His presence? Worship, prayer, scripture..
Hadirat Tuhan itu akan ada di hati kita selamanya..

John 14:16-17
16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Yesus bicara tentang hadirat.. Dia berkata kalau Dia akan bersama dengan engkau dan di dalam engkau SELAMA-LAMANYA.. Roh Kudus yang akan tuntun kita..
Pada saat engkau diselamatkan, Roh Kudus akan selalu ada di dalam kita, tidak akan keluar masuk, tapi tetap di dalam kita.. Mungkin saja kita tidak merasakan Roh Kudus itu sampai kita menyembah, berdoa, atau membaca alkitab..

The reality of the Holy Spirit cancels the reality of yours..

Exodus 34:9
And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

Musa wajahnya bercahaya.. Dia kehilangan dirinya sendiri.. Dia begitu terbungkus dengan hadirat Tuhan, bahkan dia tidak menyadari kalau wajahnya bercahaya.. Seperti Adam dan Hawa, mereka bahkan tidak tahu kalau mereka telanjang, karena mereka dibungkus dengan kemuliaan Tuhan..

Dalam hadirat Tuhan, kita bisa lupa dengan semua masalah kita..
Hadirat Tuhan tidak bisa diimpartasikan..
Nobody can lay hands and say: "be saved", because Salvation is a Person..
The presence of Jesus brings salvation..

Healing has nothing to do with the presence..
Kesembuhan itu berhubungan dengan kuasa Tuhan..

Saya tidak bisa merasakan hadirat Tuhan, tapi saya mengenal hadirat Tuhan..
Aware of the Messiah..
Dalam penyembahan, engkau "terhilang:" dalam Yesus..
Hadirat Tuhan tidak bisa naik turun.. Tidak bisa diimpartasikan..

Kuasa itu ada dimana? Ada di dalam hadirat Tuhan..

 Habakkuk 3:3
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Deuteronomy 32:13
He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

Honey and oil came out from the rock.. High place?
Tempat tinggi? Tempat kita menyembah Dia..

Ketika kita masuk ke dalam penyembahan, kita bisa menyadari kehadiran Tuhan, dimana hingga Dia lebih nyata dibandingkan diri kita sendiri, dan semua yang di dalam kita seperti menyerah, dan ketika kita menyerah, itu seperti kita "menghirup" pengurapan itu..

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

3 experiences:
1. He is with You
2. He is in You
3. He comes on You ONLY when you minister

The presence of God is the same level..

Penghalang pengurapan Tuhan itu yang mengalihkan perhatian kita.. Urapan itu bukan hanya meningkat atau menurun, tapi bisa diimpartasikan juga, tapi urapan bisa dipindahkan ke baju, saputangan, ke sebongkah kayu, ke bayangan, dll..
Semua yang di dalam kita hidup di dalam urapan..

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Dia sungguh-sungguh dinyatakan di dalam Firman..

Gereja mula-mula tidak memiliki kitab perjanjian baru, karena mereka harus mencari Mesias itu di kitab Kejadian, Keluaran, Bilangan, kitab nabi-nabi, dll..
Gereja mula-mula juga banyak yang dibunuh sebagai martir..
Berapa banyak yang akan jadi orang percaya kalau tidak ada kitab Injil, Kisah Para Rasul, dll? Karena gereja mula-mula tidak punya kita itu, tapi ia mendengar atau melihat sendiri apa yang Mesias itu lakukan..

Alkitab ini bukan sekedar pengetahuan, tapi tentang pewahyuan tentang Jesus.. It's all about Jesus..

Siapakah Yesus itu? Alkitab berkata bahwa Dia adalah Firman.. Di Yohanes 1:1, dikatakan bahwa
"Pada mulanya adalah Firman; Firman itu bersama-sama dengan Allah, ......."

Arti dari Firman itu adalah Pewahyuan.. Jesus is a revelation from God to man..
Jesus Christ is the glory of God in the flesh..
One God.. Three Persons, (The Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
ONE GOD, NOT THREE GOD..

I'm not a body.. I'm not a soul.. I am a Spirit..
The Real of you is spirit..
I'm not a soul, but i have a soul..
I am not a body, i live in a body..
But the real me is the spirit..
It's the Trinity, I am a spirit, i have a body, i have a soul..

One God, Three Persons..
The Sun is a Trinity.. The Sun, the Light, the Heat..
It's like the Father.. The Lord is One, but it is three persons.. A Father is a Person, a Son is a Person, a Holy Spirit is a Person..
An Angel is not a Person, because it has not a soul.. An Angel is a spirit..

Karena Tuhan adalah pribadi, maka Dia menciptakan kita serupa segambar denganNya, tapi Malaikat tidak.. Tuhan tidak akan mewahyukan diriNya kepada malaikat..
Apapun yang malaikat tahu tentang Tuhan, malaikat cuma bisa lihat ketika Tuhan menjamah gerejaNya (God's dealing with us).. Malaikat tidak punya kapsitas untuk mengerti keselamatan karena mereka tidak memiliki jiwa.. Mengapa? Karena mereka tidak punya kapasitas untuk mengasihi, membenci, menerima kasih.. Tuhan menciptakan malaikat unutk melayani, tapi Tuhan menciptakan manusia untuk mencintai Dia(Tuhan)..
Angels cannot worship Him, they only can praise Him.. Kita bisa menyembah Dia, tapi malaikat tidak bisa menyembah Dia..

Filipi 3:10
Yang kukehendaki ialah mengenal Dia dan kuasa kebangkitan-Nya dan persekutuan dalam penderitaan-Nya, di mana aku menjadi serupa dengan Dia dalam kematian-Nya,

Pewahyuan Tuhan itu diberikan hanya kepada gerejanya, tidak kepada MalaikatNya.. Apakah kalian sadar betapa berharganya kalian?

1 Korintus 2:12
Kita tidak menerima roh dunia, tetapi roh yang berasal dari Allah, supaya kita tahu, apa yang dikaruniakan Allah kepada kita.

1 Korintus 2:10
Karena kepada kita Allah telah menyatakannya oleh Roh, sebab Roh menyelidiki segala sesuatu, bahkan hal-hal yang tersembunyi dalam diri Allah.


You are the church.. You are the only one that can know God.. Only the Church can know the Lord..
Malaikat belajar tentang Tuhan dari hubungan kita dengan Tuhan.. Ketika mereka melihat Tuhan mengasihi kita, ketika Tuhan mengampuni kita, ketika Tuhan sangat setia kepada kita, mereka tidak bisa mengerti itu, makanya malaikat itu berkata "Kudus"..

Jesus is the Revelation of God to you..
God has revealed Himself through His Son..

Pada mulanya adalah pewahyuan Tuhan.. Pewahyuan Tuhan itu ialah Tuhan sendiri..

Yohanes 1:2
2: He was in the beginning with God.

Jesus Christ is an Everlasting Word/Revelation of God..
He is The Personal Revelation of God..
He is The Creative Word/Revelation of God..


Yohanes 1:4
4: In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Di dalam Dia ada hidup,...
Yesus pun adalah Firman yang memberikan kehidupan..

He is The Life Giving Word/Revelation of God..
He is The Light Giving Revelation of God..


Yohanes 1:6
6: There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Menerangi setiap hati..

He is The Illuminating Revelation of God..


Yohanes 1:12
12: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

He is The Saving Word/Revelation of God..

Dan pewahyuan yang sama itu menjadi daging..

Yohanes 1:14
14: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

All that Revelation become a Man.. That is the Miracle of The Salvation.. Jesus became flesh..

He is Life, not He has Life..
Does God have life? God IS Life..
Does God have power? God IS Power..
Does God have love? God IS Love..
Does God have Mercy? God IS Mercy..
So, Life is a Person.. Love is a Person..
Mercy is not something, Mercy is someone..

Does God exist? He doesn't exist.. We exist.. He is Existing itself..
God doesn't live.. We live.. I live.. But He is Life..
We live in Him.. God is Life..

Does God live in eternity, or eternity lives in God?
Bukan dua-duanya, tapi Tuhan itulah kekekalan.. God is Eternity..

God is..Yohanes 17
God is.. Satan is not..
The devil NEVER says i am.. But he says he HAS..
Satans have a beginning, and will have the end..
All that "God is" become a flesh and they call His name "Jesus"..

Jesus never says I have life, but I am the Life..
I am the Bread of Life..
I am the Water of Life..
Bukan "I have a way", but "I am the Way"..
Jesus is everything you need..

How can the grave holding the One Who is holding the grave?
How can the death holding the One Who is the Life itself? By dying, He destroys the death.. It's why He rose from the grave..

He is the Beginning and the End..
He's the Alpha and Omega..
The First and Last is He..
The Curse of Sin is broken..
We have perfect liberty..
The Lamb of God is risen..
He's Alive He's Alive..


I stand I stand in awe of You..

Holy God to Whom a praise is due..
I stand in awe of You..
